About Me

Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I am the creator of Faithful Teachers. I am teacher, a Christian, and an outdoorsy nerd. In my time in the classroom, I have taught English Language Arts. After I graduated with my degree in Secondary Education (emphasis in ELA), I substituted a year and half until I landed my first teaching job. Now I am heading into my fifth year of teaching. In addition to teaching, I am also obtaining my master’s degree in Instructional Design in eLearning.

Over my time in education, I have developed this passion for learning in myself and my students. I have geeked out about new strategies or activities I would facilitate in my classroom. I would not only search for ways to elevate learning through strategies and activities, but I would also consider the purpose behind the learning. Yet, not everyone shares my passion or devotion to education. That is how this site came to be. I hope to share this passion and devotion with others out there. Additionally, I am excited to share my experiences and research on education and curriculum resources with you. I will attempt explore all facets of education that you can facilitate in the classroom or at home.
